Dear Santa…
Early in December, the little ones in Monee Elementary’s first grades had some very special and important writing to do. Yep, it was time to let the jolly old man in the red suit know what was special on their wish lists for Christmas – from a flower pot to a first aid kit, to clothes, dolls, and action figures, plus all things gaming. Both Ms. Northam and Ms. Murphy were kind enough to help us with some of the children’s spelling (which is noted in parentheses). Also, it’s comforting to know some toys, such as Barbie, still appear on children’s wish lists. (She was also on my daughter’s list many years ago!) Note: If there are only initials for the child, it’s at the parent’s request the child’s name not be used.
