Wladyslaw Lach passed away on December 14, 2025.
We gather to honor and celebrate the life of Wladyslaw Lach, affectionately known as Wladek to his friends and family, a remarkable man whose journey on this earth began on January 1, 1959, in the quaint town of Skawa, Poland. It was there that Wladek learned the values of hard work, compassion, and faith, which became the cornerstones of his life. On December 14, 2025, Wladek was called to his eternal home in Bridgeview, Illinois, leaving behind a legacy of love and selflessness that will forever be etched in the hearts of those who knew him.
Wladek’s life was a testament to the power of love and the strength of family bonds. He was the beloved husband of Janina, cherished father of Rafal and Jarek, respected father-in-law of Araceli, and adored grandfather of Logan, Emma, and Sophia. His family was the light of his life, and he devoted himself to providing not only for their needs but also for their hearts, offering constant affection and the wisdom gained through his life experiences.
In his professional life, Wladek was known for his exceptional work ethic and skill. He spent many years working as an electrician before continuing his career as a machine operator. His colleagues respected him for his diligence, kindness, and willingness to help others.
A man of profound faith, Wladek lived his Christian beliefs through his actions. His selfless and generous nature was evident to all who had the privilege of knowing him. Those closest to him will remember his ability to uplift others, to listen with compassion, and to give without expectation. The words of Matthew 5:16, “Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven,” were truly reflected in Wladek’s life.
As we bid farewell, we do so with heavy hearts, yet with comfort in knowing that his spirit lives on through the memories he created and the lives he touched. His love remains deeply woven into the fabric of his family and community, and his legacy will continue to inspire generations to come.
