Age 54, of Countryside, Illinois, formerly of North Riverside.
Megan Noelle Holdman (née Meisner), age 54, of Countryside, Illinois, formerly of North Riverside, passed away surrounded by love and memories that will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her.
Beloved wife of Frank Holdman and loving mother of Frank and John Holdman, Megan’s family was the joy and center of her life. She was the cherished daughter of the late Richard and the late Phyllis Meisner, and the dear sister of Patricia (Donald) Markus, Linda Gorgan, and the late Wendy M. Albanese. Megan was a loving niece and cousin to many, a devoted aunt to numerous nieces and nephews, and a lifelong friend to many — including her dear late friend Janis E. McNulty.
A proud 1989 graduate of Riverside Brookfield High School, Megan continued her education in nursing at The British Home Rehabilitation Services. She later built a successful career with Ullico, one of the nation’s largest insurance and investment service companies serving trade union members, where her dedication and kindness left a lasting impression. Her early years in the workforce included time with Swiss Farms, where her warmth and work ethic shone just as brightly.
Megan’s interests were as diverse as her ability to connect with others. A devoted animal lover, she adored her cats and shared a deep bond with her late dog, Molly. Her nurturing nature extended far beyond her pets — she had a remarkable gift for striking up conversations with anyone, often turning strangers into friends with her sincerity, humor, and genuine compassion.
Megan’s vibrant personality, caring heart, and love for life will be remembered and celebrated by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
