Edward R. Clohessy, age 85, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 23, 2025, in Long Beach, Indiana.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Judith, and is survived by his wife, Mary. Loving father of Jeffrey (Kathryn) Clohessy and Sharon (the late Albert) Dalto. Proud grandfather of Matthew (Colleen), Daniel (Samantha), and Lauren, and cherished great-grandfather of Sadie, Maeve, and Daphne.
Edward dedicated 60 years of his life to the Village of Evergreen Park, serving with the Fire Department for 42 years—including nine as Fire Chief. His leadership, courage, and unwavering integrity earned him the deep respect and gratitude of his colleagues and community.

Interment: Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Alsip, Illinois.
