Oak Lawn police and fire crews responded Sunday, Oct. 19, after a driver having a medical emergency crashed into a home in the 4800 block of West Oak Center Drive, near 103rd Street and Cicero Avenue.

Commander Steven McNeela of the Oak Lawn Police Department said the driver first hit a parked car before plowing into the house. The driver was taken to a local hospital. His condition was not known. No one inside the home was hurt.

A few neighbors nearby said they didn’t see what happened, and others didn’t want to comment.

McNeela said the driver had suffered a medical emergency before the crash and that nobody inside the home was injured.

No other information was available.
