Lyons Township Assessor Patrick Hynes recently hosted a property tax appeal event for township residents in partnership with the Cook County Board of Review and Commissioner George Cardenas.
The event helped homeowners navigate the appeal process amid a record number of filings with both the Cook County Assessor’s Office and the Board of Review. Hynes said his office remains committed to ensuring residents receive fair and accurate property assessments.
Residents needing help with appeals are encouraged to contact the Lyons Township Assessor’s Office. The next opportunity to file appeals will be during the 2026 reassessment.
