The Village Green at 95th Street and Cook Avenue will be alive with guitars, drums and the smell of pizza and tacos when Oak Lawn’s Fall Music Festival takes over downtown Sept. 5–7.

The three-day event on the Oak Lawn Village Green, 95th & Cook Ave., is one of the village’s most popular traditions, packs three stages with cover bands and tribute acts, alongside food vendors and family entertainment. Village officials say this year’s festival is expanding with more music and attractions for all ages.

“Our Fall Festival is one of Oak Lawn’s most cherished traditions, and we’re proud to see it grow year after year,” Mayor Terry Vorderer said. “This year’s attractions and expanded entertainment lineup reflect our commitment to creating memorable experiences for residents and visitors alike.”

The festival opens Friday, Sept. 5, with sets from Serenity Now! and Mix Tape Junkies before The Boy Band Night takes the main stage at 8 p.m. Local favorites The Walk-Ins close the night with a 10 p.m. tent show.

Saturday offers a full day of music, starting at noon with Junior Varsity Blues. Highlights include Sparks Fly, a Taylor Swift tribute act, The Chancey Brothers, Hillbilly Rockstarz, and The 1985, a band that celebrates the pop sounds of the 1980s. The evening ends with Coax and Folks on the tent stage at 10 p.m.

On Sunday, festivalgoers can expect country hits, Celtic rock and Motown favorites before Motown Nation closes the weekend on the main stage at 6 p.m.

Beyond the music, the festival will feature caricature and tattoo artists, jugglers, magicians, psychics and other roaming performers. Food vendors include Paisans Pizzeria, Birdies Sports Bar & Grill, Palermo’s, The Black Oak, Lucky Burrito, Alos Tacos, Nothing Bundt Cake and La Michoacana Premium.

Festival hours are Friday from 6 p.m. to midnight, Saturday from noon to midnight, and Sunday from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Gates open a half-hour before start time each day. Admission is free.
