Soccer teams fight at The MAX, police say

Two soccer teams were involved in a fight on Feb. 19 at The MAX, 4750 Vernon Ave., McCook police said.

Officers responded to the scene and spoke with multiple witnesses who said both teams had been “playing very hard during the game,” which led to the altercation, according to police.

Police remained on the scene until both teams left the building, authorities said. No arrests were reported.
