Just in time for summer!
Beecher has a new business and just in time for residents to enjoy some delicious summer treats. Golden Brew & Creamery, 755 Penfield, held its grand opening and ribbon cutting on Monday, June 10. They are open Monday through Friday, from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
The new establishment features all types of coffee – including iced, cappuccino, and espresso, lemonade, tea, freshly baked donuts daily from Pearson’s Bakery, small sandwiches, soups, plus Hershey ice cream.
The idea of a coffee shop and creamery had been in the works for owners Mike and Dee Dee Hurley for approximately four years, but COVID hit, then the site wasn’t available, and that was how it unfolded at the time. But recently, that building space became available, and now Beecher has a new coffee and treat shop to enjoy. Just in case you’re wondering – yes, the owners do have a Golden Retriever – Maylie Rose!
