Dean/President/Honor Lists

Hannah Miller, of New Lenox, earned Dean’s List honors at the University of Tampa for the fall semester.
Matthew Gaffney, a mechanical engineering student from Manteno, has been named to Missouri University of Science and Technology’s fall Honor List.
Gabrielle Nelson, of Crete and a STEM Natural Science major, has been named to the Dean’s List at Youngstown State University for the fall semester.
Jillian Gray, of New Lenox, has been recognized and named to Georgia Southern University’s fall President’s List.
More than 6,900 University of Nebraska-Lincoln students were named to the Deans’ List for the fall semester, including from: Crete – Drake Alderson and Jason Wendling; Manhattan – Megan Gerl; and New Lenox – Karly Bernhard, Luke Mostello, Madeline Tekiela, and Noelle Trost.
Local students named to Carthage College’s fall Dean’s List, include: Gabrielle Pavesich of Beecher; and Wyatt Goorsky, Adam Kedzior, Bradley Szubryt, and Kailey Wagner, all of New Lenox.
Augustana College announced more than 1,000 students were named to the Dean’s List for the fall semester, including local students: Crete – Chloe Quin; Monee – Holly Chesney; New Lenox – Jeremy Brown, Kara Lotz, Paige Rogde, Abby Smith, Abigail Soper, Grace Strache, Miranda Tyda, Emma Vander Wall, and Sarah Walton.
Graduations
During Ferris State University’s fall graduation, Ryan McGrath, New Lenox, was awarded an Associate in Arts, Criminal Justice, degree.
Donald Baker, of New Lenox, graduated from the University of Tampa on Saturday, December 16, earning an Entrepreneurship Bachelor of Science degree.
The University of Wisconsin-Platteville awarded diplomas to more than 500 students for the fall, including New Lenox resident Jacob Erickson, who received a degree in Agricultural Business.
