Teresa Michniak, née Morawa, age 88, passed away on August 11, 2026.
She was the beloved wife of the late Franciszek Michniak and the loving mother of Franciszek (Helena) Michniak, the late Stanislaw Michniak, and Stanislaw (Anna) Michniak.
She is survived by her grandchildren, Malgorzata Michniak (Jan Mirga), Jacek (Anna) Michniak, Piotr (Dominika) Michniak, Teresa (Jacek) Mulica, Mateusz (Beata) Michniak, Aneta Michniak, and Isabel Michniak; 16 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Antonina (née Reczek) and Franciszek Morawa, and her siblings, Piotr Morawa, Jan Morawa, Anna Morawa, and Maria Bukowska.
Visitation: Monday, August 17, 2026, 4 to 8 p.m. at Damar-Kaminski Funeral Home & Crematorium, 7861 S. 88th Ave., Justice, Illinois.
Funeral: Tuesday, August 18, 2026, 10 a.m. Prayers and procession to begin from the funeral home to Saint Fabian Church, 7450 W. 83rd Street, Bridgeview, Illinois, for 11 a.m. Mass.
Interment: Cmentarz Parafialny, Mietustwo, Poland.
