Lucille Cahue Rodriguez, a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who lived to 100, died May 4. She was surrounded by family.
Rodriguez was born Sept. 11, 1925, in Mexico. She was the wife of Rodolfo Mojica Rodriguez.
She is survived by her children: Anthony Rodriguez, Ricardo Rodriguez, Philip Rodriguez, Lucy Bologna and Elyse Rodriguez. Two children, Rudy Rodriguez and Rita Davino, preceded her in death. Ricardo was a retired Chicago police officer, as was Rudy.
She also is survived by five grandchildren: Erik, Jason, Saul, Rafael and Brittany. She had seven great-grandchildren: Lexi, Mariano, Nola, Rafael Jr., Caiden, Cole and Nevaeh. She also is survived by seven siblings.
Visitation will be held Saturday, May 9, from 9 a.m. to noon at Damar-Kaminski Funeral Home & Crematorium, 7861 S. 88th Ave., Justice, Illinois.
A service and time of remembrance will be held Saturday, May 9, at noon at the funeral home.
Interment will be at Mount Auburn Cemetery, Stickney, Illinois.
