Michael Dzielski, a heavy-duty mechanic who owned his own business, died April 25, 2026, after a battle with cancer. He was 31.
He is survived by his wife, Jessica Dzielski; two children, Franuś and Ania; his parents, Helen and Krzysztof Dzielski; his siblings, Sarah Dzielski and Thomas Dzielski; his sister-in-law, Magdalena Dzielski; his grandparents, Stanislaw and Maria Tylka and Franciszek and Helena Dzielski; and numerous relatives and friends.
Dzielski was born Sept. 26, 1994. He owned and operated his own heavy-duty mechanic business and was known for his work ethic, reliability and honesty. He was also an accomplished musician who played violin and bass and was passionate about góralskie music, performing with a local ensemble.
Dzielski was a practicing Catholic whose faith was important to him, particularly during his illness.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 29, from 3 to 8 p.m. at Damar-Kaminski Funeral Home & Crematorium, 7861 S. 88th Ave., Justice, Illinois.
A funeral Mass will be held Thursday, April 30, at 10 a.m. at Our Lady Mother of the Church Polish Mission, 116 Hilton St., Willow Springs, Illinois. Prayers and a procession will begin at the funeral home at 9 a.m.
Interment will be at Resurrection Cemetery in Justice, Illinois.
