Orland Park police responding to a report of a man videotaping employees at Hooters encountered Zahera Shalash sitting at the bar, camera in hand.
Shalash, 47, of the 300 block of Brownell Street, Thornton, is a biological male who identifies as a female, police said.
Shalash reportedly had an argument with a server about taking his food away before he was done eating. He went to the bathroom and when he returned he started using his phone to videotape the female employees, police said.
He was told that videotaping employees is against company policy and was asked several times to delete the footage from his camera but refused, police said.
Police said Shalash was charged with disorderly conduct and banned for life from Hooters.
