A Chicago woman grabbed a Von Maur bag, stuffed 17 clothing items inside, and walked out with more than $1,400 in merchandise before police caught her, authorities said.
Angelica Lopez, 30, of the 1700 block of Latrobhe Avenue, was charged with felony retail theft on March 15 after she concealed the items behind a store counter, according to police. She was also charged with resisting arrest after officers attempted several times to handcuff her.
Von Maur issued Lopez a lifetime ban from the store.
