A new wellness space centered on self-love and holistic healing is inviting the community to slow down and recharge at Agapi Wellness Center, now open at 8648B W. 103rd St.
Built on the motto, “The Power of Love, The Gift of Healing,” the center offers a range of services designed to nurture both body and mind, including holistic facials, massage therapy, Reiki healing, yoga classes and mat Pilates.
Founder Joanna Spinos said the vision for Agapi Wellness Center was deeply personal, a response to a need she once felt for a calm, intentional space focused on true restoration.

“Agapi means love, and that is the root of everything we do here,” Spinos said. “This space was built for our community to come, exhale, heal, and feel cared for.”
Spinos, a Palos Hills resident for more than 20 years, said choosing the location was intentional, rooted in her desire to give back to the community she calls home.
“I felt it was important to invest in and support the community that has been such a big part of my life,” she said.
At the heart of Agapi’s offerings is a holistic approach to wellness, blending energy healing practices like Reiki with physical and restorative services. The center also features a team of practitioners and instructors specializing in skincare, massage therapy and various forms of yoga, each contributing to what the founders describe as a cohesive, welcoming environment.
Executive Manager of Operations Raven Basit said the team was thoughtfully assembled to reflect the center’s mission and energy.
“Our practitioners and yoga teachers were carefully selected to embody the energy that Agapi Wellness Center radiates,” Basit said. “We want our space to feel like a safe sanctuary where you can feel relaxed and leave rejuvenated.”
That sense of sanctuary is a central focus for the business, which aims to create more than just a place for appointments, but a destination where clients can disconnect from daily stress and reconnect with themselves.
From customized skincare treatments to therapeutic massage and mindful movement classes, each service is designed to promote balance and long-term well-being.
With its emphasis on intentional care and community connection, Agapi Wellness Center offers residents a new place to pause, reflect and restore, guided by a philosophy that healing begins with love.
