Joseph G. Kalupa, of Brighton Park, died peacefully.
He was the husband of the late Jo Anne Kalupa (nee Foley).
Kalupa was the son of LaVerne Kalupa and the late John E. Kalupa.
Survivors include mother LaVerne; siblings Linda Higgins and Laura (Robert) Moxley; nieces and nephews Crystal, Selena (Matthew), Jonathan (Michelle) and Michael; great-nieces and great-nephews Samantha (Charles), Gabriella, Johnette, Ireland, Patrick, Sheehan and Ryan; and great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews Addylyn and Rhiannon.
Kalupa was a lifelong resident of Brighton Park. He was a graduate of Immaculate Conception Grade School and St. Rita High School. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War era.
Kalupa was known for his great sense of humor, his love of soap operas and his skill as a dog-sitter.
Visitation will be held Monday, March 30, from 11 a.m. until Funeral Service at 12:30 p.m. at Palos-Gaidas Funeral Home, 11028 Southwest Highway, Palos Hills.
Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
