Orland Park honored the Cello Café & Crepes at its March 16 Committee of the Whole meeting at its Business of the Month for March.
The business has been up and running for four years at 9009 W. 151st St.
Mayor James Dodge jokingly said he liked that the crepes at the business had no calories.
Red, White and Blue Fest
Trustee Michael Milani said at the March 16 board meeting the inaugural Red, White and Blue Festival would be held during Memorial Day weekend.
“There is going to be a parade, food vendors and music,” Milani said. “And if we can get enough attendees, there will be a barbecue cookoff.”
The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. May 23 at Centennial Park West, 15609 Park Station Blvd.
There will also be a pyro-musical fireworks show at 9 p.m.
