Michael Leonard “Mike” McCloskey, 55, died March 6, 2026, from complications following a heart attack.
He was the son of the late Terry McCloskey (d.1981) and Gloria Ackerman (d. 2013).
McCloskey was the husband of Lisa McCloskey.
Survivors include wife Lisa; children Jacob McCloskey (Amber) and Amanda Adeyemi (Seni); grandsons Braxton Riley and Ezra Adeyemi; brother Christopher McCloskey Sr. (Anna); sister Vicki Ackerman; and numerous nieces and nephews.
McCloskey was a United States Marine Corps veteran. He was known for his sharp wit, dry humor and strong will. He was an expert at cooking for crowds and loved creating memories through conversations, family meals and shared experiences.
McCloskey was a man of Christian faith whose life was marked by contentment and devotion to Christ.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 24, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Damar-Kaminski Funeral Home & Crematorium, 7861 S. 88th Ave., Justice.
Graveside service will be held Wednesday, March 25, at 11 a.m. at Spring Grove Cemetery, N. 7th Street, Delavan, Wisconsin 53115. Family and friends are asked to gather directly at the cemetery.
