Aranda

Rudolph “Rudy” Aranda Jr., of Atlanta, died unexpectedly Feb. 27, 2026.

He was the son of Antoinette “Tonia” Aranda and the late Rudolph Aranda Sr.

Aranda was preceded in death by his sister, Debra Aranda.

Survivors include mother Antoinette; siblings Diana (Joseph) Avila and Kenneth (Corrine) Aranda; nieces and nephews Joseph D. Avila, Jacob (Elizabeth Ana) Avila, David (Sarah) Aranda, Debra (Josh) Ramon and Kenneth Jr. (Candida) Aranda; great-nieces and great-nephews Alexxander, Rocky, Benjamin, Daniel, Isabel, Xavier, Sienna, Azusena, Annemarie, Magdalena and Adrianna; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Aranda had a long career in technical support, beginning at Leo Burnett advertising agency in Chicago, followed by positions with Waste Management and U.S. Cellular. In 2012, he relocated to Atlanta, Georgia, where he continued his work in technical support.

He was an avid fan of Johnny Mathis and Frank Sinatra, a devoted Chicago Cubs fan, and a regular at Uncle Julio’s restaurant.

Visitation will be held Saturday, March 14, from 9 a.m. until the Celebration of Life service at 11:30 a.m. at Foran Funeral Home, 7300 W. Archer Ave., Summit. A procession will follow to St. Mary Cemetery, where Mr. Aranda will be laid to rest beside his father.
