Denise R. Ware, 21, and Terrance A. Reed, 40, both of Chicago, were arrested on Feb. 6 and charged with retail theft and three other offenses at Victoria’s Secret, 116 Orland Square Dr., Orland Park, police said.
Police said they stopped a car the couple were driving after they received a Flock camera alert that it was a vehicle identified in a retail theft incident.
Police said that when talking with the couple, they noticed cannabis odors coming from inside the car.
Police said that during a search, they found brand new women’s underwear in Reed’s right jacket pocket and found more underwear in the car. Police discovered they were items taken from Victoria’s Secret and store video showed the two walking out of the store with bags of clothes that were not paid for.
They were arrested and have a scheduled court date of April 1 at the Bridgeview Courthouse.
Ware also was arrested for theft at H&M, 284 Orland Square Dr., and Reed was arrested for retail theft at Zumiez, 632 Orland Square Dr.
