Edward C. Jutzi passed away on February 18, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. He was the devoted husband of the late Johann (née Grutza) and a cherished father to Wendy (the late Daniel) Kovach, Nadine (Tom) Jernberg, Edward (Susan) Jutzi, Daniel (Debbie) Jutzi, and Jennifer (David) Gray. Edward took great pride in his family as a loving grandfather to nine grandchildren and a proud great-grandfather of twenty. He was also the dearest brother of Charlotte (the late Edwin) Koeller.
Edward’s life was rich with learning and passion. He attended Florence Nightingale Grammar School, Tilden Tech High School, and Wilson Junior College in Chicago. A gifted pianist, he studied at the Chicago Conservatory of Music. Edward also enjoyed social and recreational pursuits, including membership in the Belles and Beaus Square Dance Club, the Royal Round Dance Club, and the Navy Air Corps PBY Catalina Squadron.
