A Palos Hills man was shot and killed early Sunday morning in the Riviera Townhomes near 111th Street and 86th Avenue.
Palos Hills police said in a news release they were called to a domestic incident where a man was shot and later pronounced dead at Advocate Medical Center in Oak Lawn.
Police said no other injuries were reported.
The Illinois State Police Public Integrity Unit is investigating, according to Palos Hills police.
Police said in the release they were unable to answer questions.
Witnesses said the domestic dispute between a man and a woman started between 4 a.m. and 5 a.m.
They said the man had a gun and was outside when police arrived.
The townhomes are across the street from Moraine Valley Community College and down 111th Street from Stagg High School.
