Argo Community High School honored 13 alumni Feb. 5 for their professional achievements and contributions to their communities, recognizing graduates who have distinguished themselves since leaving the Summit school.
The biennial award celebrates former students who have succeeded in their careers and given back to their communities—setting examples for current students. The school accepts nominations from the public every two years.
The 2026 Distinguished Alumni are: Adam Alonso ’89, Andrew Gorski ’88, Anthony Anderson ’91, April Kates-Ellison ’88, Chivon Niziolek ’04, David Rompala ’68, Donald Karpiak ’73, Gina Leahy ’10, Kelli Hinton-Moore ’88, Kevin Pacheco ’00, Michael Snee ’08, Robert Jarosik ’48, and Shannon Verschoore Voytsekhovskyy ’93.
The school held the dinner banquet that evening at Mama Luigi’s in Bridgeview.
