Bogdan Hryc, age 57, of Lemont, Illinois, passed away peacefully on January 29, 2026, after a courageous battle with glioblastoma. Born on July 23, 1968, in Łapy, Poland, Bogdan’s life was defined by his adventurous spirit, love of family, and passion for mechanics.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Izabela, and cherished daughters, Michelle and Julia. Bogdan found joy in motorcycles, car racing, and exploring the intricate workings of machines. His zest for life and curiosity took him on adventures around the world, leaving memories and inspiration with all who knew him.
Family and friends are invited to Visitation on Friday, February 6, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Damar-Kaminski Funeral Home & Crematorium, 7861 S. 88th Avenue, Justice, Illinois. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 7, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at SS. Cyril and Methodius Church, Divine Mercy Chapel, 608 Sobieski Street, Lemont, Illinois. Private interment.
