Richard Mroz, a proud U.S. Army veteran, Paratrooper of the 82nd Airborne, and Korean War veteran, passed away on Tuesday, January 20, 2026.
He was the beloved husband of Kathleen “Kitty” Mroz (née Kutansky). Loving father of Carleen (Michael) Skowronski, Denise (Wally) Zabierek, James (Lisa) Mroz, the late Thomas (Linda) Mroz, the late Michael Mroz, and the late Paula Mroz. Cherished grandfather of Cara (Nick) Bouhoutsos, Amanda Zabierek, William Mroz, Marikate Zabierek, Stephen Mroz, Brandon Mroz (fiancée Monique), Briana Zabierek, and the late Leslie Mroz. Proud great-grandfather of Mila, Milianna, and Stella.
Richard was preceded in death by his twelve siblings. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. He was a dedicated member of Local #705, International Brotherhood of Teamsters.
