Local diners will have the chance to explore the Palos area’s culinary scene this month during the first-ever Palos Restaurant Week. The event, organized by the Palos Area Chamber of Commerce, runs Jan. 22–29, 2026.
Participating Chamber-member restaurants will offer special Restaurant Week menus or a 10% discount on the total bill. Chamber President Todd Probasco said the weeklong event aims to showcase the area’s dining options while encouraging residents to try new or favorite eateries.
“This event has been an idea we’ve discussed for several years, and we’re thrilled to see it finally coming to life,” Probasco said. “This is going to be a lot of fun and a wonderful boost for our community.”
Palos Park Mayor Nicole Milovich-Walters said she is excited for the new local tradition. “I’ve always loved Restaurant Week in the city. I think it’s a great way to get people to eat and shop local in Palos Heights and Palos Park,” she said.
Participants include: Capri Italiano Ristorante, classic Italian in Palos Heights; Francesca’s Vicinato, Roman-inspired Italian in Palos Park; Franklin’s Pub House, American comfort food in Palos Heights; Harmony Chinese Restaurant in Palos Heights; Jullianni’s Pizza, Italian fare in Palos Heights; Meshico, authentic Mexican in Palos Heights; Oranges Pancake House, breakfast favorites in Palos Park; and Rooftop Johnny’s Bar and Grill, casual American and rooftop dining in Palos Heights.
Details on participating restaurants and menu offerings are available on the Chamber’s website at www.paloschamber.org and on its Facebook page.
Palos Restaurant Week promises to be a celebration of local flavors and a chance for residents and visitors alike to discover what the Palos dining scene has to offer.
