Edward M. “Ed” Travers, proud U.S. Marine, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 8, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.
Ed was the devoted husband for 32 years to the love of his life, his wife Gloria. Cherished father of Jeannette Hernandez and Robert Hernandez. Proud grandfather of Jamie Hernandez, Jayson Hernandez and Andrea Hernandez, and great-grandfather of James Hernandez. Dear brother of Nancy, Gary, Rick and Marsha. Ed will also be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and friends.
Ed proudly served his country as a Marine and was a member of Marrs-Meyer American Legion Post #991. His service, strength and dedication to family were central to who he was.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 16, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. A service with military honors and a celebration of Ed’s life will take place at 1:00 p.m.
Per his request, Ed will be cremated.
