Adam Ptaszek passed away on January 12, 2026.
Beloved husband of Maria Wojdyla, nee Jedrzejczak. Loving father of Agnieszka (Boguslaw) Smolarczyk, Hanna (Adam) Wawer, Zdzislaw (Dorota) Ptaszek, Agata Ptaszek and Lukasz Ptaszek. Dear stepfather of Henryk (Sabina) Wojdyla and Sylwia (Steve) Ohlrich. Dearest grandfather of Marta (Dawid) Komperda, Natalia (Lukasz) Galazka, Anita (Przemyslaw) Samoraj, Iza Wawer, Gabriela (Jakub) Szczurek, Karolina Ptaszek, Weronika Ptaszek, Dawid Ptaszek, Olivia Kot and Eric Wojdyla. Cherished great-grandfather of Kacper, Alicja, Antos, Krystian, Julek, Kornelia, Julia, Antosia, Rozalia, Aurelia and Laura. Cherished son of the late Zofia (nee Kowalska) and the late Stefan Ptaszek. Fond brother of Teresa Kafar. Also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held Friday, January 16, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Damar-Kaminski Funeral Home & Crematorium, 7861 S. 88th Avenue, Justice, Illinois.
Funeral services will be Saturday, January 17, 2026, with prayers and procession beginning at 10:00 a.m. from the funeral home to Saint Albert the Great Church, 8029 S. Central Ave., Burbank, Illinois, for an 11:00 a.m. Mass.
Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Justice, Illinois.
