Judita Dargis (Zonaite) passed away peacefully at home in Orland Park, IL, on December 17, 2025. Born on October 28, 1934, in Radviliskis, Lithuania, to Gustavas Zonas and Adele Lopetaite (Baltramonaitiene). She married Stasys Dargis (Darginavicius) on January 3, 1959, and they later immigrated to the United States, settling in Chicago. Judita was a loving mother to Edward and Vilija (Casey) Krajewski, and a cherished grandmother to Andrew, Lidija (deceased), and Tomas Krajewski.
A brief visitation will be held Friday, January 9, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi, 15050 S Wolf Rd, Orland Park, followed by a Memorial Mass at 10:30 a.m.
A private committal ceremony will take place at St. Casimir Lithuanian Catholic Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Francis of Assisi Helping Hands Ministry.
