A Chicago man was arrested Dec. 14 for driving on a suspended license after he was stopped at 8 a.m. in the 7400 block of College Drive for using a cell phone while driving, police said.
Wayne Ware, 65, of the 8800 block of South Genoa Avenue, was stopped for using a cell phone while driving and police learned he had a suspended license, as well as a serviceable traffic warrant for his arrest.
He was charged with illegal use of a cell phone; expired registration; and for being wanted on a warrant.
He was released after being processed at the Bridgeview Courthouse. His next court date is scheduled for Feb. 2.
