Zbigniew “Ziggy” Szczepanowski passed away on December 25, 2025, at the age of 66.
Beloved husband of 45 years to Leokadia Ewa Szczepanowski, nee Mikszewicz. Loving father of Thomas (Debra) Szczepanowski, Susan (Christopher) Dionne, and Timothy (Julie) Szczepanowski. Dearest dziadzia of Nicholas Szczepanowski, Sebastian Dionne, and Samuel Dionne. Cherished son of Bronislawa (nee Rogozinska) and the late Jozef Szczepanowski. Dear brother of Stanislaw (Irena) Szczepanowski, Teresa (Wieslaw) Jackiewicz, Maria (Dariusz) Bartoszewicz, and Geno (Wioletta) Szczepanowski. Also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held Monday, December 29, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Damar-Kaminski Funeral Home & Crematorium, 7861 S. 88th Avenue, Justice, Illinois.
Funeral services will take place Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at 9:45 AM with Prayers and Procession beginning from the funeral home to Saint Faustina Kowalska Church, 5255 S. McVicker Ave., Chicago, Illinois, for an 11:00 AM Mass.
Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Justice, Illinois.
