A longtime holistic health provider with roots stretching back nearly two decades has found a new home in Palos Park, bringing an expanded range of integrative services to the community.
Dr. Stacy Phelps, a board-certified chiropractic physician and holistic healthcare practitioner, recently relocated The Natural Health Improvement Center to Palos Park after operating for years in Alsip. The center is now located at 8102 W. 119th St., Suite 900, inside the One Park Place business complex.
Phelps, who resides in Evergreen Park, began her practice in 2006 with a clear mission: to create a holistic “one-stop shop” where patients could access comprehensive, personalized care focused on identifying and addressing the root causes of their symptoms rather than simply treating them.
“That vision guided everything from the beginning,” Phelps said. “We wanted to offer a variety of services under one roof so patients could receive truly individualized care.”
The practice quickly outgrew its original location, prompting an expansion into a second space in Alsip and the addition of more practitioners and staff. The relocation to Palos Park came after the Alsip building was sold last year, opening the door for a new chapter.
“We were incredibly fortunate to find this new location,” Phelps said. “It allows us to continue serving our patients while reaching even more people in the Palos area.”
The Natural Health Improvement Center offers a multidisciplinary approach to wellness, with an experienced team trained in chiropractic care, acupuncture, functional nutrition and massage therapy. Specialty services include customized nutritional supplement protocols, dry needling, shiatsu stretching, cupping and dynamic neuromusculoskeletal stabilization.
Phelps said the move has been met with enthusiasm from the Palos Park community.
“The people and businesses have been so welcoming and supportive,” she said. “There are so many opportunities to connect with what’s happening in the Palos area, and we’re really looking forward to becoming even more involved in 2026.”
For those curious about holistic healthcare options, the center offers complimentary 15-minute consultations to help determine which services may best fit an individual’s needs.
“Our mission is to empower, educate and support each person on their journey toward vibrant health,” Phelps said. “We strive to provide safe, effective holistic care in a compassionate environment.”
The Natural Health Improvement Center is open to new patients and aims to serve as a resource for residents seeking integrative, patient-centered healthcare in the Palos Park area.
