On December 7, at 8:58 p.m., a traffic stop led to the arrest of Alex Curtis Marion, 24, from Mokena. Marion was charged with speeding over posted limit and driving while his license is suspended. He was subsequently released with a notice-to-appear.
On December 8, at 6:11 a.m., a traffic accident led to the arrest of Gomez Dinato Velasquez, 72, of Steger. Velasquez was charged with having a windshield obstructed by snow and ice and driving while his license is suspended. He was subsequently released with a notice-to-appear.
On December 10, at 5:34 a.m., a traffic stop led to the arrest of Michael Boyd, 43, from Monee. Boyd was charged with no valid registration, no valid insurance, and driving while his license is suspended. He was subsequently released with a notice-to-appear.
On December 10, at 11:39 a.m., Monee officers took a complaint for burglary of a motor vehicle. Officers learned a work truck parked in the 5600 Block of W. Von was burglarized sometime over the weekend. The victim found the van open upon getting in and discovered most of his professional tools were missing. The case was turned over to Monee Investigations.
