Due to the forecasted chilly temperatures on Saturday, December 13, some changes are being made to make Santa’s Wonderland and the Reindog Parade an enjoyable event for everyone.
Many activities are moving indoors. The Reindog Parade will still be outdoors at 1:30 p.m. A few events and activities have been cancelled, but there will still be plenty of fun inside beginning at 2 p.m. including the vendor fair, Santa visits, cookie decorating, Disney character visits, food vendors, and the DJ. The Holly Jolly Trolley will line up inside, with loading outside.
The Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony will be brief and has been moved up to 5 p.m. at Klein Park.
Santa Visits begin Friday, Dec. 5, and will run through Christmas Eve. Santa can visit specific Evergreen Park homes by calling the Recreation Department, 708-229-3373, for an appointment.
