Timmy Peterson, 29, of the 9000 block of Jeffery Boulevard, Chicago, was charged with battery, assault and resisting a peace officer Nov. 17 after police said he fought with officers who attempted to handcuff him.
Police responded to a call at Orland Square Mall of a man engaged in a physical altercation with a woman near an escalator. When police arrived, Peterson had engaged in a physical altercation with the woman and a 54-year-old man had tried to assist the woman when Peterson threatened him, police said.
Peterson was given a lifetime ban from the mall.
