The Village of Justice held its annual Winter Wonderland on Saturday, bringing families together for holiday activities from noon to 3 p.m.

Guests received ornaments to personalize and hang on a display wall in the village board room. Children carried “passports” that were stamped at activity stations before meeting Santa.

The event stretched across multiple village locations. Village Hall hosted games, while the Justice Library offered snacks and additional activities. The Justice Park District provided crafts and hot chocolate, and Santa and his elf greeted visitors back at Village Hall.

A decorated holiday tractor pulled a wagon around Commissioners Park, shuttling families between Village Hall, the park district and the library.

At the police station, children visited and photographed the Grinch, who was displayed in a jail cell.

“We enjoy this event and seeing the children come in to see Santa,” said Trustee Fran Mills. “They enjoy taking their passport around to get it stamped at the different locations along the way.”
