Robert “Bob” L. Thielen, age 76, passed away on November 12, 2025.
He was the beloved husband of Catherine Thielen (née Baker); loving father of Adam (Kim) Thielen, Jason (Caroline) Thielen, Robert Thielen, and Steven (Jessica) Thielen; and the devoted grandfather of Michael, Abby, Lucas, Brooke, Blake, and Ethan.
Bob was the cherished son of the late Roberta (née Buck) and the late Michael Thielen, and the fond brother of Richard (Pat), Michael (Dolores), Paul (Marge), and Sandra. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends who will miss him deeply.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 14, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Damar-Kaminski Funeral Home & Crematorium, 7861 S. 88th Avenue, Justice, Illinois.
A Funeral Service and Time of Remembrance will take place on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at 10:00 AM at the funeral home.
Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Alsip, Illinois.
