A longtime favorite for Asian-inspired cuisine, P.F. Chang’s marked its 20th anniversary in Orland Park on Tuesday, Nov. 4, with a celebratory ribbon cutting hosted by the Orland Area Chamber of Commerce.

Local leaders, Chamber members and customers gathered at the restaurant, 14135 La Grange Road, to commemorate two decades of dining and community connection. The event recognized P.F. Chang’s as a staple in Orland Park’s restaurant scene since it first opened its doors in 2004.

Orland Park Manager Melissa Vellenga said the milestone holds special meaning for the restaurant and its staff.

“We have been a part of the community for 20 years,” Vellenga said. “This really means a lot to us.”

Vellenga added that customer loyalty has been excellent throughout the years, with many guests becoming regulars who celebrate family milestones and special occasions at the restaurant.

Founded in 1993 in Scottsdale, Arizona, by chef Philip Chiang and restaurateur Paul Fleming, P.F. Chang’s is known for its scratch-made menu inspired by Chinese and other Asian cuisines. The restaurant’s offerings range from its popular Chang’s Chicken Lettuce Wraps and Mongolian Beef to a variety of wok-fired dishes, sushi, and handcrafted cocktails. With locations nationwide and abroad, the brand prides itself on fresh ingredients, made-to-order meals and an upscale yet approachable dining experience.

The Orland Area Chamber of Commerce congratulated the restaurant on its long-standing accomplishment and its continued contributions to the local business community.

P.F. Chang’s remains committed to serving guests with the same quality and hospitality that have made it a fixture in Orland Park for two decades.
