Upon arrival, they met with the victim, who showed them a video of the offender checking her car doors parked in the driveway. From that video, officers were able to locate two other vehicles that also were probed by individuals caught on the camera of the original caller. The video showed an individual dressed all in black checking the vehicle of the original caller, then opening the door of a second vehicle, on the street just south of the caller’s home. The video showed a second offender checking vehicles across the street. The victims reported nothing taken at this time. Later the same morning, officers were dispatched to the 5000 block of Hawk Lane. They met with a second victim, who also had a camera that showed an offender in a light-colored hoodie checking cars in their driveway, with the offender in dark clothing walking nearby.
