A new drive-thru coffee spot is taking shape on 159th Street, right next to Midas. The building stands tall and nearly finished, marking the arrival of 7 Brew Coffee at 7121 W. 159th St.

Crews have been busy this fall, and as of Oct. 17, the structure and exterior are in place with finishing work underway. There’s no official opening date yet, but judging by the pace, it could be ready by late 2025 or early 2026.

7 Brew is built around a high-energy, double-lane drive-thru model. There’s no sit-down café inside; everything happens at the window. The two-lane setup lets baristas handle twice as many cars at once, keeping lines moving even during the morning rush.

The energy doesn’t stop there. The staff, known as “brewistas,” are known for their upbeat personalities, chatting with customers – and rumor has it, a little dancing happens to the music while drinks are made.

The banner outside the construction site reveals what’s ahead – 7 Brew Coffee, “coming soon” to 159th Street in Tinley Park.

You can taste that same energy in the drinks. The menu mixes coffee classics with fun, new options and new flavors that change with the seasons.

One getting plenty of attention this fall is the Iced Pumpkin Cookie Butter Blondie, often ordered with an extra shot of espresso. Online forums and social posts have already called it “the drink of the fall,” and judging by the buzz, it’s living up to it.

The company runs on a franchise model that’s been expanding across the Midwest. Reports from BizFranHub show it takes between $1.4 million and $2.3 million to open a single 7 Brew.

The project first went before the Tinley Park Plan Commission in July 2024, where Chris George, representing Who Brew IL I LLC, presented plans for the new 7 Brew.

Commissioner Steve Sepessy made the motion to approve, James Gaskill seconded, and the vote was unanimous. The Village Board followed with final approval in August 2025, giving the project the go-ahead to move forward.

Once it opens, the new 7 Brew at 7121 W. 159th St. will join a growing stretch of coffee spots fueling Tinley Park’s mornings, another stop to add to the rotation for coffee lovers.

A 7 Brew opened earlier this year on U.S. 30 in Mokena and long lines are a regular occurrence at that location.
