Orland Park’s newest adventure destination is ready to make a splash—without the water. Slick City Orland Park will officially open its doors on Thursday, Oct. 16, at 1 p.m., with a Grand Opening Ribbon Cutting Celebration from 4 to 6 p.m.

The event promises a full afternoon of excitement, featuring a live DJ, face painting, temporary tattoos, and a prize wheel loaded with fun giveaways. The first 100 guests at 4 p.m. who purchase a 90-minute ticket will score a free 30-minute upgrade, so early birds get the best deal.

Located at 66 Orland Square Drive, in the former home of Gizmo’s Fun Factory, Slick City spans an impressive 55,000 square feet of action-packed fun. Inside, visitors will find giant slides with names like Fast Lane, Big Wave, and Cowabunga; air and sports courts perfect for games and friendly competition; and a Chicago-themed laser tag arena for some high-energy battles.

Younger guests will love the “Junior Jungle,” a special play zone featuring a web crawler and smaller slides designed for kids under five. The park also offers activities for all ages, including adult nights for those looking to relive their inner child.

So, mark your calendar, bring your crew, and get ready to slide, laugh, and play at Orland Park’s newest indoor action park.
