Sam Gentile, 53, of Justice, died Oct. 4, 2025, surrounded by his family.
He was the loving father of Danielle, Paige and Anthony, and the proud grandfather of Alivia, Harlan, Addison and Hunter. He was the cherished son of Anna and the late Sam Gentile, and the dear brother of Lisa (Jeff) Allen, Chuck and Roy (Deanna) Gentile. He was also a beloved uncle of 12 and great-uncle of 24.
Sam was a loyal friend to many and shared a special friendship with Tina Smith. He will be remembered for his generous heart, sense of humor and deep love for family and friends.
Visitation was held Thursday, Oct. 9, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Damar-Kaminski Funeral Home & Crematorium, 7861 S. 88th Ave., Justice.
A service and time of remembrance took place Friday, Oct. 10, at the funeral home. Interment followed at Woodlawn Cemetery in Forest Park.
