Stanislaw Gawron, 61, of Justice, died peacefully Oct. 2, 2025, surrounded by his family.
Gawron was born Feb. 22, 1964, in Maruszyna, Poland. He later moved to the United States, where he built a loving home and a life centered on family, hard work and generosity.
He was the beloved husband of Maria Gawron and the devoted father of Monika, Rafal, Daniel and Kamil. He was also a proud grandfather of Gabriela, Jakub, Izabella and Julia, and a caring father-in-law to Joseph and Nikolina.
Gawron was known for his strong work ethic, kindness and willingness to help others. His legacy will live on through the love he shared and the many lives he touched.
Visitation was held Tuesday, Oct. 7, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Damar-Kaminski Funeral Home & Crematorium, 7861 S. 88th Ave., Justice.
Funeral prayers and procession began Wednesday, Oct. 8, at 8:45 a.m. from the funeral home to St. Faustina Kowalska Church, 5255 S. McVicker Ave., Chicago, for a 10 a.m. Mass. Interment followed at Resurrection Cemetery in Justice.
