Aniela Szczech, nee Borzecka, age 80, passed away on August 27, 2025.
Beloved wife of the late Franciszek Szczech. Loving mother of Anna (Maciej) Koscielniak and Maria (Krzysztof) Milek. Cherished grandmother of Justyna and Jaroslaw Koscielniak, and Kristian and Nicholas Milek.
Daughter of the late Anna (nee Jachymiak) and the late Jan Borzecki. Dear sister of Anna (Jan) Borzecki, Maria (Roger) Serwy, Stanislaw (Wanda) Borzecki, Jozef (Boguslawa) Borzecki, and Franciszek Borzecki; preceded in death by siblings Jan (Rozalia) Borzecki and Wladyslaw Borzecki. Fond aunt to many nieces and nephews, and dear to extended family and friends.
Visitation: Monday, Sept. 1, 2025, from 3 to 7 p.m. at Damar-Kaminski Funeral Home & Crematorium, 7861 S. 88th Avenue, Justice, Illinois.
Funeral: Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2025, 9 a.m. prayers and procession from the funeral home to Our Lady Mother of the Church Polish Mission, 116 Hilton Street, Willow Springs, Illinois, for 10 a.m. Mass.
Interment: Resurrection Cemetery, Justice, Illinois.
