Viera Koscakova, age 44, passed away on July 1, 2025. She was a beloved mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and dear friend whose unexpected passing leaves a deep void in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Viera was known for her open heart, warm spirit, and infectious laughter. She brought joy to those around her with her kindness, humor, and gentle presence. Her selfless love and unwavering care enriched the lives of her family and friends. Though she faced many challenges throughout her life, her love—especially for her daughter—remained constant and unconditional.
She is remembered with love and respect by her daughter, Nicole Koscakova; her sisters, Anna Jasnak and Mária Bellak; her brothers, Jozef, Ján, and Stanislav Koščák, along with their families; and by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held Sunday, July 13, 2025, from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Damar-Kaminski Funeral Home & Crematorium, 7861 S. 88th Avenue, Justice, Illinois.
Funeral prayers will begin at 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 14, at the funeral home, followed by a procession to Saint Faustina Kowalska Church, 5255 S. McVicker Avenue, Chicago, for an 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial.
Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Justice, Illinois.
