A man was shot twice during an apparent road-rage incident involving two men in separate vehicles Tuesday night in Bridgeview.
Police said the incident began about 6:15 p.m. at 99th and Harlem Avenue and ended at 10029 S. Harlem Ave, under the Tri-State Tollway Bridge.
The victim was hit in the shoulder and another bullet grazed his cheek, said Bridgeview Police Chief Ricardo Mancha. He said preliminary reports suggested it might have been a case of road rage.
He was treated and released at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn.
Mancha said police recovered two handguns in the vicinity of the shooting. He said police also recovered the vehicle the shooting suspect abandoned.
That part of Harlem was shut down for about an hour as police were gathering shell casings.
Mancha said investigators were looking for the shooter.
