Two women face retail theft charges in separate incidents last month, according to Orland Park police.
Marlyn C. Villalobos, 54, of the 9700 block of Crescent Park Circle, was arrested June 10 at Von Maur, 4 Orland Square Dr., after officers responded to a report of a stolen handbag. Police said the handbag, valued at $320, was recovered, along with a stolen bracelet found in Villalobos’ purse. She was issued a lifetime no-trespass order from the store and is scheduled to appear in court July 22 at the Bridgeview Courthouse.
Michelle L. Watson, 40, of Tinley Park, was arrested June 13 at Kohl’s, 3 Orland Park Place, and charged with retail theft and driving with a suspended or revoked license. Police said Watson did not comply when asked to exit her vehicle, and officers removed her from the car. Merchandise worth $552 was found in the back seat, according to the report. She was also given a lifetime ban from the store and transported for a court appearance.
