On June 22, Melinda Islas, 44, of Beecher, was arrested at her residence for a failure-to-appear warrant from Kankakee County. She was transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.
On June 23, Alan Fisher, 61, of Beecher, was stopped for not wearing a seat belt and issued citations for having no insurance, improper use of vehicle registration, and for not wearing his seat belt. He was released on a notice-to-appear.
On June 27, Raul Garcia, 44, of Bourbonnais, was stopped for failure to dim headlights and was found to have an outstanding arrest warrant from Kankakee County for failure-to-appear in court on another charge. He was issued citations for failure to dim headlights and possession of adult-use cannabis in a motor vehicle by a passenger and transferred to a Kankakee deputy at the county line.
