On June 3, at 8:25 p.m., Monee Officers were dispatched to 6605 W. Monee-Manhattan Road (Amazon), to meet with the loss prevention officer regarding theft of merchandise from the company. Upon the officers’ arrival, they learned Dariontae Sims, 19 and a Dolton resident, was accused of taking $4,596 worth of Amazon products. Loss prevention provided evidence, and Sims was charged with theft/unauthorized control/between $500 and 10K. He was subsequently released with a notice-to-appear.
On June 3, at 2:02 p.m., a traffic stop led to the arrest of Ariel Vences, 32, from Berwyn. During the stop officers learned through dispatch the vehicle was listed as stolen. Vences was charged with criminal trespass to a vehicle, obstructing justice, and illegal transportation or possession of alcohol. She was subsequently released with a notice-to-appear.
On June 6, at 2:10 a.m., a traffic stop led to the arrest of Anthony Williams, 33 and a Chicago resident. Williams was charged with an expired registration, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and driving while license suspended. He was subsequently released with a notice-to-appear.
On June 9, at 11:45 a.m., a traffic stop led to the arrest of Keith Spriggs, 49, from Bourbonnais. Spriggs was charged with driving while license suspended and having a defective windshield. He was subsequently released with a notice-to-appear.
On June 10, at 1:52 a.m., a traffic stop led to the arrest of Raven McChristian, 31 and a Crete resident. McChristian was charged with driving with a suspended registration and driving while license suspended. She was subsequently released with a notice-to-appear.
